We bought this for our son when he was five months old. It was a little big, but worked. He is still wearing it and he is one year old. I think he will be able to wear it for many, many more months before he outgrows it. It is an absolute must and something we put on him whether he is in an outdoor or indoor pool. He needs the protection from the sun when we are outside and it provides important warmth when we are inside.
