I received these as a a gift for my newborn baby. She was born in May with warm weather. These gowns were all that she wore for the first couple weeks, as she was too small for most clothing to fit her properly. These gowns were just the right weight as newborns don't regulate body temp well. The bottom has elastic which made for easy diaper changes. The sleeves have the option of rolling down over hands like mittens, which I used because my baby would scratch her face constantly if her hands weren't covered. 2 pack is nice, because one was always in the wash.
